Tom Morrison
Controller
Mr. Morrison serves as the Controller for Kearny Real Estate Company. He is responsible for financial reporting and cash management along with participation in the strategic planning and implementation of the real estate development projects of the Company. He also oversees the property management accounting for properties owned or managed by Kearny Real Estate Company.
While working in the tax department of Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. in Greensboro, North Carolina, Tom earned the designation of Certified Public Accountant. He was the Assistant Controller for a commercial real estate developer in Dallas, Texas. Upon his arrival in Los Angeles, he was employed for six years as Controller for Fred Sands
Realtors and affiliated companies. Mr. Morrison segued into the entertainment industry as Accounting Manager for The Jim Henson Company for six years. He also consulted with companies such as Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Warner Brothers, and Paramount Pictures. Prior to arriving at Kearny, Tom performed the duties of Controller at Keller Williams Realty.
